AI Showdown: Three Interview Preparation Systems
The three posts diverge on a question that has nothing to do with interviews: what should a prompt do about the things the model cannot know?
All three understood that a model cannot see a specific company's real interview process, and all three wrote a guardrail against it. But the guardrails do different work. Gemini blocks the invention — "Do not invent facts about the company's actual interview process" — and stops there. ChatGPT blocks it and then builds a vocabulary for what remains: label every claim KNOWN, INFERRED, or VERIFY, and keep a ledger of which input supports which conclusion. Claude blocks it and then routes the reader outward, asking the model to say where the real process is documented so the prediction gets tested against something.
